Terms of Service
Effective date: May 1, 2026
These Terms of Service govern your use of Piano Dashboard. By using the site, you agree to these Terms.
Piano Dashboard is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or associated with Simply, JoyTunes, or Simply Piano. Simply Piano and related names may be trademarks of their respective owners.
1. The Service
Piano Dashboard allows users to upload screenshots from their own piano practice activity, extract performance metrics from those screenshots, and view the resulting information in a personal dashboard.
The service is intended for personal tracking, organization, and analytics.
Piano Dashboard does not provide music, lyrics, sheet music, audio, arrangements, lessons, or access to any third-party app or service.
2. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
You agree to provide accurate account information and to keep your email address current.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, create security risks, or misuse the service.
3. User Uploads
You may upload screenshots only if you have the right to do so and only for lawful purposes.
You are responsible for the screenshots and other content you upload.
You agree not to upload content that:
- you do not have the right to upload or process;
- infringes another person's copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights;
- contains unlawful, harmful, abusive, or malicious material;
- attempts to interfere with the security or operation of the site.
By uploading a screenshot, you give Piano Dashboard permission to store, process, resize, analyze, and extract data from that screenshot for the purpose of providing the service.
You retain whatever rights you have in your uploaded content. We do not claim ownership of your screenshots.
4. Screenshot Handling
Uploaded screenshots are used to extract your performance metrics.
Screenshots are user-specific. We do not make your screenshots public, and we do not show your screenshots to other users.
After processing, we discard the original high-resolution screenshot. We may retain a small thumbnail or reduced-resolution version for your own upload history, troubleshooting, and verification.
5. Extracted Data
The site may extract and store information such as song title, artist, notes hit, total notes, timing, assists, stars, level, and play timestamp.
Song titles and artist names are used only to identify your performance records and organize your dashboard.
You agree that OCR and automated extraction may be imperfect. You are responsible for reviewing your data and notifying us if correction is needed.
6. No Affiliation or Endorsement
Piano Dashboard is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or associated with Simply, JoyTunes, Simply Piano, any music publisher, record label, artist, or rights holder.
